People sometimes ask me what I did in the Air Force for 20 years. I had the absolute best job you could possibly have. We did motion picture (yes I said motion picture), video and still photography of contingency and humanitarian missions around the world. It could involve anything from delivering Christmas presents to Eskimos in the Arctic Circle to working with Special Ops folks in Central and South America. I was also involved in the transition from wet processing systems to digital photography and computer based video editing, as I was on the Air Force Advanced Television Technology Committee, and also several other technology committees that dealt with setting up process and procedures for new electronic imagery centers and the national archives.

I have a few photos here to share of good friends and the fun we had. Sometimes we sit around and swap stories about what we did and are often amazed that we never got killed.
